A booking redirect is not an automatic ranking penalty
Search visibility depends on many signals: useful service and location content, crawlability, page quality, local business information, reputation, links, and mobile usability. Sending a client to a third-party booking page does not by itself prove that rankings will fall.
The practical concern is the customer journey. A sudden change in domain, design, navigation, or required information can create uncertainty. It can also make website analytics and follow-up harder to understand when different systems own different parts of the journey.
What the spa website should do
What the booking flow should do
The booking experience should preserve context. A client who chose a facial should not have to search for the service again. Availability, provider choice, pricing, policies, intake, and payment should appear in an order that makes sense on a phone.
After booking, the system should give the spa a usable client record and a clear path for reminders, reviews, rebooking, gift cards, memberships, and relevant follow-up.
